Views and Product Displays

I have several views set up using product displays with the referenced products, no problem there. I need to set up a new view using product displays referencing multiple products now.

I get a separate entry for each referenced product in the view. I have the view set to display only one item under multiple field settings. Is there something that I have missed?

I have the product display with multiple reference products. That's not my issue, but thanks.
My problem is that in the view, I get a separate listing for each product in the product display. I would like to have one listing for the product display, regardless of how many products are referenced.

Any ideas on how to do that?
