Using Draggable Views to Manage Product Placement

Isovera has a great article about how to use DraggableViews to arrange products. Scroll down to "The Better Solution" in the article.

Here's a summary:

1. Install the DraggableViews module.
2. Follow the instructions in the section titled “Creating a Sorting Interface for a View” in the DraggableViews documentation.
3. Update the permissions on the sorting interface attachment to make sure only admins can see it.

There is still some extra work required to create their specific solution (JS to put the interface out of the way), but a great solution nonetheless.
