How to link new menu items to taxonomy vocabulary/term

I am planning on using the kickstarter 2 system for a simply ecommerce site. After a lot of test and trial and error, I decided to go with the sample store and remove everything I don't need. Although the demo store provides most of what I need, there are some things I need to add to make the store work the way I want. I want to be able to add a new menu item to the main menu and although I can do this by provided the page's path, I want to continue to use the system the way it was originally created. I noticed in the demo site, each menu item in the main menu is attached/associated with a matching taxonomy term. I can't seem to be able to do this when I try to add a new menu item to the main menu. I already added the term to my vocabulary and when I try to add the new menu item I don't see a way to associate the path of the menu item with the new term I just added.

I"d appreciate your help.

This issue has been resolved. I didn't realized that just by adding a new taxonomy term to my vocabulary the taxonomy_menu module took care of adding the new item to the main menu.

Thank you.

I am having the same issue here. As soon as I add a new term to the 'Product Category' taxonomy the system breaks and I am left with just one link to 'All Products' and the other 2 test categories are no longer in the menu??

Very confused!!

HELP!!
