Demo site bugs?

I supposed that the demo site might allow me to add to cart. There's no way to do that, no evidence that there's a cart, no buy button. I was amused to find my way to http://demo.commerceguys.com/dc/admin/reports/updates, which lists Drupal Commerce 7.x-1.1 'Security update required!' uh, perhaps. I'm willing to believe that the ability to navigate to Administration » Store » Products type stuff might be deliberate, I can explain further if it isn't. I'm a newbie I don't know what to make of this demo, perhaps it was put up 10-20 months ago, and nobody looks at it, can't say why nobody's already posted these points? Also, I'll throw down that previously, I was goofing w/ubercart. I'm very open to commerce and this is a plausible-looking site. But where do I find a working demo of anything on the net? You're in good company, I suppose.

The site happens to be set up so the Add to Cart form is not shown in a teaser list. Please click through to any of the pages (like the [Mug page](http://demo.commerceguys.com/dc/catalog/coffee-holders/mug) and you'll find everything exposed for anon users.

Commerce 7.x-1.2 *just* came out including a minor security release. I'm sure the demo site will be updated within a few weeks.

You're telling me that no updates were made in response to my post? Of course, there's been a fix implemented, you flushed the database, at the least, is the explanation why I've registered again, gotten an identical email acknowledgement (same email address, same username) that I got hours ago. And now there are buy buttons, not even the drop down (black mug white mug) select inputs were there. And please click through to any of the pages, eh? Obvious, isn't it, that I clicked through a great deal, seeing as how I found links to admin pages (which are no longer there). If you've deliberately misled me, then it's something that I wouldn't do, in your place, and if this isn't the reply that you expected, then you are used to dealing w/idiots.

nothing personal, the pattern that I'm responding to here, mostly it's bitter experience that I've been through recently w/others. Even my original post was a bit testy, arguably. Nevertheless, think it over, before digging yourself in deeper.

I don't know of any changes, and don't have access to the site administratively. That doesn't mean that Ryan didn't do something with it. But remember that most demo sites are set up to flush and reload regularly. So perhaps somebody mangled it and you arrived at that time, and then the reload happened.

You don't have to be quite so testy :-) It's just us chickens here.
