VAT in german shops

There is still a Problem with correct display of VAT.

German law says, the VAT has to be included at the presentation of the product, but in the invoice, it has to be separated.

If one is selling products with different VAT sets, the sum of both sets has to be seen in the invoice seperately from the products.

This is quite complicated, and I did not manage to get it done completely as requested.

The next thing is, if you sell to bussines as well.

If the customer has a registered VAT-ID, the display can contain prices excluding VAT, and VAT has to be declared in the invoice.

If this customer is within the EU, but not in Germany itself, no VAT is to be charged.

Any Idea how to manage all of this?

I think you'll find that VAT presentation (showing the VAT correctly for German law) is covered in http://drupal.org/node/1352916 - you may be able to describe your particular need there.

As far as rules to demonstrate VAT selection based on geography, that's demonstrated in several screencasts.
