howto hide primary_local_tasks?

Hi,

in my content product type above the product title always two tabs "View" and "Article" are shown.
This is irritating to the customer and I would rather like this submenu only to be shown to administrative users.

As I found in the template source this is a submenu addressed as primary_local_tasks and I tried to
find a place where I can adjust its appearance.
The "best" GUI approach I found was Tab Tamer (http://drupal.org/project/tabtamer), but this did not work as I was hoping.

I guess this question is more a general Drupal issue, but with Drupal Commerce it is even more annoying - and does
currently only show up in Commerce content product type.

Is there a way to suppress this menu other than a change to the template itself?

I think the first question you have to ask is where the article tab comes from. I haven't seen that and don't know where it comes from. Turn off the module that provides that and you'll be somewhere.

Thanks for the hint. I thought it was a default behavior of Commerce, but then
could track it down to the Commerce (Product Display Manager).

I'll disable it for now and address the issue in a thread associated to the module.
