Creating products in Commerce - improving / simplifying the workflow
I am looking at commerce from an end users perspective (the manager of an ecommerce store - non technical)
From my understanding you create a product here
/node#overlay=admin/commerce/products/add/product
and THEN create a node referencing the product for example here
/node#overlay=node/add/product
Question
Is there a way of making this happen all in one place without having to custom code a module to do so?
This seems a very convoluted way of managing a product catalogue for the no technical site manager, fraught with possible error (When compared to Magento in which this process is seemless and so intuitive)
Of course, I want to love commerce, we are a 100% Drupal Agency ;-)

Possible answer
Looks like there may be a module to resolve this issue
http://drupal.org/project/commerce_product_display_manager
Will try it out and report back.
I think usability is paramount to the success of Commerce.
I tried out Commerce Product
I tried out Commerce Product Display Manager and it's delightful. Does just what you want, @pdjohnson, I think.
