What is the alternate feature in drupal 7 Commerce for Ubercart attributes in Drupal 6?

we have few products of type Software (Software Products) and I would like to have a set of attributes for products and the values for the attributes will be added during the checkout process. So each line item in the cart will have those set attributes defined.

We are upgrading from D6 to D7, and ubercart 6 to drupal commerce. In our D6 ubercart, we have used Ubercart attributes to add a set of attibutes. So trying to a find a similiar one in Drupal commerce. Kindly help. Thanks in advance

There are a few modules in place to handle this.

- Commerce Product Option
- Commerce Product Option Set Reference
- Commerce Product Attributes

Those combine should give you the ability to create option sets (red, blue, orange) and attach them to orders. These attributes can also modify the total for the product (red shirts are $1.00 more, blue a $1.00 less)
