Stock control

Hello,

I would like to know more about stock control :

- Is the stock controlled by transactional operations ? Is there any rollback in that case ? Documentation ?
- Did someone made some stress tests on the "add to basket" functionality in order to test the unlikely event of overselling ?

Great product by the way. Making everything in rules was smart !

Hi,

Thanks, I looked further in the module and for what I saw, the "add to cart" form validation is hooked in the commerce stock module where the rule for the stock control is invoked.

I think that due to that it will be impossible to have real transactions.
In my idea, the 'add to cart' and 'stock control' functions should be in the same transaction in order to have a rollback in case of excess stocks.

Does anybody have any thoughts, improvements about that ?
