Set Product Price to Value of Field On Product Display
I am setting up a marketplace of sorts, where book cover designers will be able to upload and sell pre-made book covers. I would like to make the process as easy as possible for them.
The range of prices for book covers is $30-$60, and the price will vary based on the artwork/time needed to complete it.
I have added a "Set Your Price" field to the content type for this product so that when designers add their covers, they can set their own price. Now, I am trying to create a rule that will set the product price to the value in the "set your price" field when added to cart, but because the field I want to update to is on the node and not the line item, I am having a hard time figuring out how/if this could work.
Any ideas?

I ended up installing the Inline Entity Form and it works brilliantly! I will have to do a little bit of training on the front end with the designers adding content, but this module was exactly what I needed.
