Newbie Help : A shop with no prices on products but does need a deposit added at time of checkout

I have a client who wants a small e-commerce solution where none of their products actually have a "price" per se, but at checkout a deposit of £100 needs to be added. Is this possible?

My thanks for any and all assistance given,

I would recommend you add a product called "deposit" to your cart using rules. Make sure the rule has a condition of this product not existing in your cart, or perhaps has less than 1 quantity in your cart. This will ensure your cart always has this deposit required upon checkout.

Never mind.
Found the View. Put in a Filter Criteria. Works fine.

Cheers.

Yeah, I'd already thought that that might be a good idea.

The thing of it is that the client doesn't want the Deposit visible in the cart, only during the summary during checkout.
Is there a way that I could achieve this?

My thanks for the assistance, it is most greatly appreciated,
~Matt

Anyone?
I mean, is there some way I can get into the display of the Basket and do a check for the Deposit and if it's found, disable its output?
