How to add a 'timebased' price on a product (e.g. seasonal pricing)?

Hi There!

Is it possible in commerce to set up a price calculation
which depends on a date (=day or date range)?
the use case is:
i have the product type event and the pricing depends on seasons, weekends and holidays.

the module rooms did not fits this use case because it is not possible to have a booking period which
is less then 2 days but i need it in a daily granularity...

Thanks in advanced

Hi einsk,
Did you ever get this working?
I would like disable specific product sales, based on a date field.

I'm not aware of a way to do it directly in Commerce (which isn't to say there isn't a way) but I'm wondering if you could accomplish this by adding a new field or two and using rules to toggle the status of that field based on time? There could then be rules that are executed "when calculating the price of an item" that check conditions such as the status of the field and sets the line item price accordingly.
