Donations Website

Working on a donation website, Just need a quick suggestion if its a good idea to use Drupal Commerce for simple donations website. The site will offer 3 to 4 Donation products like sponsor 1 day meal or 1 week meal etc... for specific number of days.

Drupal Commerce is a great solution because the package doesn't make any assumptions about what you're going to be doing with it. This approach allows DC to be molded in to any type of commerce site, not just those that sell products. Here's a video that should help get you started. https://vimeo.com/31460419
