commerce kickstart taxnomony menu menu location

I installed the commerce kickstart without demo data.
I created a new taxonomy(vocabulary) and added terms in it. and selected this the taxonomy menu, menu location to be main menu. the menu path type to be : commerce kick start taxonomy.

Saved all. but no menu showing in the main menu what so ever.

Is this a bug?

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem.
I also tried to create a fresh new menu but there are also no menu items added coming from the taxonomy vocabulary.

Finally I installed the most current DEV of the taxonomy menu module, but that didn't help either.
At last I changed the setting of the Menu Path Type in the taxonomy menu settings to "Default" instead of "Commerce Kickstart Taxonomy" and that helped

=> now everything is working just fine!

Thanks for your reply, Maxplue. I will try this.
But my question will be : so what is the default, what is the "commerce kickstart taxonomy", what this settings mean? and where to find out about them?

I think Drupal commerce is so lack of documentation in explaining what is what. You have to figure out yourself spending tremendous time. The thing is it is just like a big black box. you don't know how it works and who connects who.

I should say setting products, categories, and etc in the back office is quite easy to understand but the appearance, the view giving you no clue what so ever. (in the help, all videos and documentations are quite good and easy to understand but there is very limited information about the appearance , the view and how to arrange the menus and etc to the front store).

This cause me to blame the "Drupal" cause i never used Drupal before. However, I just installed the pure Drupal 7.2 and tried a little bit and found out that is clear and do what it means to do.

I think Drupal commerce still need a big improvement on documentations and support especially for some one had not used Drupal. Otherwise, new users will blame the "Drupal" and never come back, I almost did this. But I will give Drupal commerce a last try.

Thanks for your time.

As you can imagine, our site gets lots of spam. Just last week we rejected over 360,000 spam posts. That's a lot! Occasionally, some of our comments get caught in a queue and have to wait to be moderated. I'd say about 5% of the posts need moderated and about half of those are very determined spammers. I just approved your comment.

Thanks very much for your reply. I can understand there are tremendous work to do . However, is it possible to give some message like you commented to the moderated one? So that normal user will not be confused.
