I'd like to set up my store to have bonus products attached to some products like this:
A customer buys a product A and they will receive product B&C for free.
Is this possible and how do I go about it?
The most straight forward method would probably be to make a rule that runs when adding a product to the cart. If the product SKU is a certain value, add items B&C and set their unit price to 0. You'll need to make another rule as well to clear those products if they are there, set to 0 and someone removes product A from the cart.
The latest -dev of commerce_discount (soon to be alpha3) has this functionality too.
The module is rapidly maturing, so it will soon be a more user friendly alternative to solving this use case.
