Assigning Block Region for Connector Block

Hello,

I was going through this amazing quick tutorial by Josh, on how to enable the Social Logins for Commerce Kickstart 2.

I have followed all the steps and ensured that anonymous users have access to Facebook Connector, still the social login link is not displayed.

When i checked in the Block settings, i see that the Connector block is Unassigned, i tried to place it in Content Region, on saving it comes back to Unassigned.

How do we fix this ?

First, you need to get the block to appear ... this is a permission setting. Ping back with more info if this is not the case.

Josh, your instructions were crystal clear and i have, allowed anonymous users, authenticated users and admin users access to Connect with Facebook under Connector in permissions.

I am not sure if the assignment of blocks is done in different way, rather than standard block

Are you refering FB connect button? If it is you have to add PHP SDK library in your library folder.Then only FB Connect will work

Ajai i plan to use the Default stuff provided within Commerce Kickstart the modules that i want to use are "Oauth" and Oauth Connector, kindly check the YouTube Link, it explains how Drupal Commerce guys have done it. I am just UNable to Get the BLOCK show on the correct region.

We tried this first.But it did not work and our clients requirement was only FB Connect button and we followed above steps.
