Sell per-node-access without making a bazillion products?

I'm building a recruitment site where employers can search through anonymous CVs for suitable candidates. When they find one, they can buy the contact details.

Watching the video on selling per-node-access (http://www.drupalcommerce.org/videos/tutorials/selling-pernode-access-dr...) I noticed that a product was created for the individual node. On a jobs site this could be thousands of nodes/products so obviously isn't practical.

Does anyone know of a better way of doing this which would suit my scenario?

What I'm thinking so far is:

- Automatically creating a product with rules when contact details are saved?
- Creating a general rule for access that can be made more specific on the fly, depending on the content that is to be purchased..

But I really don't know rules enough to say whether these are possible, or how to do them.

Any thoughts on this much appreciated!

Cheers,

Oliver
