Theming options for commerce kickstart profile

Hi,

I am using the commerce kickstart profile in one of my ecommerce sites. What themes work well with this installation? Can I choose any drupal theme out there or are there restrictions on what can be used on the sample store I created through the commerce kickstart installation profile.
I need a theme with a menu bar going top to bottom on the left hand side. Commerce kickstart theme has a different layout, so looking for more options.

Broadly speaking, you can use any theme that you want. The question you must answer for yourself is how much work you want to do to adapt your chosen base theme to Drupal Commerce.

Out of the box, Drupal Commerce Kickstart 2 uses an Omega 3 sub-theme developed specifically for DCK2. Actually, two different Omega 3 sub-themes are included with DCK2. The easiest path for further theming is to create a sub-theme based on one of these two provided sub-themes.

However, there are folks who've created Drupal Commerce themes starting from scratch (i.e., not using a base theme) or starting from a base theme other than Omega.
