Adding an custom text to a header of a "collection'

I want to add an custom text that will describe the collection.
Presentation of how it should look like you will find below.
The description that I want to add is in the red circle: http://haftmarket.pl/dc.png

I tried to manipulate the collection view but unfortunately with no luck.

Hello

I wanted to do the same - at the moment I am creating a block and putting it above the content area. I can then put all my text. I then only allow it to show up on the /collection/ in the block "Show block on specific pages " Its not perfect but it allows me to put a description above my collection which is a must for SEO

Hello,

I had the same problem so I created my own block. This allowed me to out my own text / html etc. I then told the block under "Show block on specific pages" to only appear on content/

Of course I put it at the top of the "content" area in the Region settings

This kinda works

That should say "to only appear on collection/123. Replace 123 with your collection number or url alias
