Updating order status

I am experimenting with Commerce and Paypal.

Having submitted an order to paypal and successfully paid for it, I am attempting to update the order status from Pending to complete.

I tried doing so as USER#1 at admin/commerce/orders/6/edit but I get the following error:
The username Test Dude does not exist.

The funny thing is there is a user called Test Dude on the system.

I am really confused about this. Can anyone help me out?

Not sure what's going on if your user isn't being recognized, but it's not an issue I've seen. Try creating a node and assigning it to that same user, as we use the same process the node form uses to match users to orders. Just to be sure, I ran a test creating an order with a username that had a space in it and had no issue.
