I followed the instructions on the "Using Calculation Rules to Add Per-Item Shipping in Commerce Shipping" screencast

but:

commerce-line-item:quantity

only ever seems to provide a '1' in the shipping calculation for each product type in the cart - not the quantity of each product type.

Is there a way to tell what values are held in the things like commerce-line-item:quantity or then many other parameters as some of them seem quite ambiguous to me.
