How do I hide (not show) the Enter Quantity select?

I've seen questions and answers about restricting the number people can order.

I dont want to make that restriction, I just want to always default to 1, and not show that select on the product page.

If they want 2, they can have two, but they will have to add to cart twice.

(It's a registration, and each registration is customized with the name of the person, so that's why.)

When you are managing display for a product display content type you can click the settings gear to modify the "product" or "product variations", there is a checkbox in there that says Display a textfield quantity widget on the add to cart form. Turning that off should hide the quantity field.
