Kickstart 2 Shopping cart: title and link "View product" don't display for a newly added products

Hello everybody!

Does anybody know what i've done wrong? I just added a new product in the existing demo product variation type and added it to cart, but, as opposed to demo products, the title and link "View product" don't display for it.

Thank you.

I realized the next: When I add a new product and I add to cart it, not show the link "view product" . But when I edit that product and modify something on product variation and save again. The link "view product" appears in Shopping cart.

Somebody could tell me what is happening? Is it a bug of the commerce kickstart ? or Am I doing something wrong?

Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Bumped.

Me too - I can't wait 4 months for an answer like you guys have been though....

I have exactly the same problem - "Title" label appears but doesn't display the info in that field on the checkout (or confirmation emails.)

No "View Product" link on the cart pages either.

I have 4 main "collections" and 2 are fine but the other 2 are missing this info. The product display and variation pages are all the same and i've been looking for the answer for this for weeks with no luck.

Please help!

hours later....

Hurah yey! Cracked it!

I solved this by adding a product title for each variation even (though the problem products didn't have a variation).

1. Go here: admin/commerce/products/variations

2. Add a value in the empty title fields and you're off! It adds the Title field to the checkout and cart pages and the "View Product" link also magically appears.

Strangely this Title field isn't shown when you create a product variation or when you edit a product. I'm sure i could make that field appear on the add product page somehow but that's not important for me for now.

Good luck and hopefully you didn't waste too much time looking for how to do this!

You can see this working in all it's glory at http://shop.rcl.lu - see even rugby players can manage Drupal Commerce albeit with considerable head scratching!
