shipping information not in order details

I'm looking at my first 2 orders and there is no shipping information; only billing information.

Shipping was required at checkout so I suspect it's in system somewhere?

It sounds like you just need to edit your "Manage display" field settings for your order view modes. You can find the settings form for these at admin/commerce/config/order/display.
