We are building a website that will be used by students to buy blocks of credits to be used against lessons with a personal tutor. The monies have to go directly to the tutors and then ideally the parent franchise company takes a commission.

I believe this is a blend of a marketplace type functionality (several different PayPal accounts being credited per site) - and also the need for the commission to be paid points in the direction of adaptive payments.

I have found a few modules where people have extended the PayPal payment module - but I would really appreciate a steer from somebody who is familiar with this.
