I am running commerce_kickstart-7.x-2.14 (Drupal 7.27). Everything works as expected so far. I do have question regarding upgrades. Why are commerce_kickstart updates delayed? Are there any known incompatibilities?

Currently we are stuck on commerce_kickstart-7.x-2.14 although a newer Drupal is available. There’s no stable commerce_kickstart version available which includes all Drupal 7.28 security fixes. What’s the best to way upgrade our commerce_kickstart installation? Wait until a new version is available?
