Commerce in Maintenance Mode

How to put only the shop in Maintenance Mode?

Reason: I have many products to update but don't want other parts of website in maintenance mode.

Another option would be to remove the checkout permission to roles other than administrator. If you have a lot of products to update and they are in a data file, you might want to look into Commerce Feeds https://drupal.org/project/commerce_feeds

I got an idea. Make a rule that one can't checkout. So, whenever, I want to put the shop in maintenance mode, I can just enable that rule.
