Attribute for different weights and price?

I need to set up a few products that can be purchased in different weights and prices. For instance, one product can be purchased in 2 or 4 oz size. Can I create this as an attribute? If so, how?

You can create an attribute by using commerce custom line items. But I recommend creating multiple products, one as a 2oz and one as a 4oz version.
