Commerce attributes and stocks

For example I have product with several attributes and one SKU. I need to track the product sstocks for the attributes. How I can achieve thiis? Do I need to use the Options module or Customizable product module.
I need your answers very much and I will be gratefull for any answers.

Could you not simply add a STOCK COUNT field on your variation, and then use RULES module to decrease the STOCK COUNT by one for each completed order?
