Product Attribute Description
I've been impressed with Drupal Commerce so far, but I am stuck on how to add a description to a product attribute. I've setup several attributes for various products in my catalog. For example, users can choose the type of wood their product is made in.
I'd like to add a description for attribute underneath the product attribute widget title displayed in the add to cart form.
Is there a way to do this? I've had no luck searching documentation or modules.

I am also looking for this functionality. It would seem that if "Enable this field to function as an attribute field on Add to Cart forms" is selected on the product list field then the help text for that field would be shown to the customer on the add to cart display, and not on the product edit form.
That is how help text works for attributes created through option sets with the module Commerce Product Option.
