Accounting with DrupalCommerce - Integration of ERP
Hi all out in the Commerce Space ;-) hi Ryan,
For the last time we spend a lot of time in seeking and testing accounting software solutions. We finally have decided to use TRYTON (http://wwww.tryton.org) which is a fork from OPENERP (http://www.openerp.com). I am not sure how deep you will create stuff like accounting needs direct as a drupalcommerce extension, but wouldn't it be a good way to integrate an existing one. We currently think about a fully bi-directional interface between TRYTON and DRUPALCOMMERCE. In this case, a lot of fulfillment actions could be handled by this tool.
Is this something which seemed to be good or bad in your mind?
Thanx for a short info [ a long one is also fine ;-) ]

100 percent good in my
100 percent good in my opinion. It would cut down a ton of labor costs. I would use it in a heartbeat for my business.
Contributions are welcome
We love great contibutions, and accounting integration would be a great contribution. Everybody in the Drupal community can create a project sandbox and maintain a module! Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Tryton interface
Hi,
I'm considering using TRYTON and DRUPALCOMMERCE as well.
Did you finally moved forward with a fully bi-directional interface between the two platforms?
Thanks for your input!
Vincent
Currently we are working on
Currently we are working on an integration of ERPAL and Drupal Commerce. We have a current proof of concept where we would love to get some feedback. You will find more details in our screencast about how to automatically create invoices with ERPAL for commerce orders http://www.erpal.info/en/blog/commerce-erpal-invoice-proof-of-concept
