I am running an instance of Drupal Commerce on a shared hosting plan provided by Bluehost. The site's performance is horrible. Page load times are ridiculous and doing any kind of maintenance on the site (adding modules, creating views, etc) is nearly impossible.

I've spent time working with the support staff at bluehost to try and diagnose the problem, but we never come up with anything to help.

Has anyone had similar problems with bluehost? Any ideas on how to help the situation?

At this point, if I can't find something soon I'm going to have to try another hosting provider. Before I take the time to move my sites and make the switch I want to see if there is something wrong with my installation or if it is an issue with bluehost.
