Having watched the video's and searched google to the ends of the internet, please can someone try to explain to a new person if this is possible?

I have 2 product types

Events (Machine name: events)

Product (Machine name: product)
A basic product type.

The "Product" is the type of items I sell, so physical items, "Events" is a booking system I am going to be using that does not actually sell a physical item, it books a person a spot on an event, so in effect there is nothing to ship.

So if the customers buys just a booking I want to be able to give them no shipping costs.

Using the flat rate module (x2)

This may have been asked before and if so I apologise, I assure you I have tried to find the answer.
