Commerce Module Tuesday: Commerce Product URLs

Commerce Product URLs

Welcome to another Commerce Module Tuesday! Today we are looking at Commerce Product URLs, maintained by Maciej Zgadzaj who is a senior developer at Commerce Guys. This project almost doesn’t require a video. If you’re running Commerce 1.6 or later, just go download this, enable it, and love yourself for making the world a better place. Actually, enabling the module, by default, doesn’t do anything, but the magic is there. And that’s where the video takes the next step. It shows us how to hack the URL to link directly to specific products.

Comments or thoughts on what Commerce Module we should feature in next week’s Commerce Module Tuesday? Let us know in the comments!

Hello, thank you for nice video. You mentioned there is a possibility to link specific variation from View as well, but unfortunately you didn't give any clue how to do that. Can you please explain additionaly here or on [email protected] ? thank you very much

In my case, I have product variations that are actually different products with different prices. There are 2 sets of choices, and each combination corresponds to a unique product. Is there a way to display a particular choice by URL?

I tried setting different prices using Commerce Pricing Attributes module. I'm wondering whether there is a way to show default choices with unique URLs for this type of add-to-cart form. Anyone know of a solution? Thanks!
